Blaydon Harriers enjoyed a strong weekend at the Newcastle Gateshead Marathon events, with members competing across the marathon, half marathon, 10k and junior races. From podium finishes to standout age‑group performances, it was a fantastic showcase of the club across all distances.

Blaydon Harriers were out in force at this year’s London Marathon, showcasing the best of club running on one of the sport’s biggest stages. Months of dedication and hard training paid off as runners proudly represented the club, whether chasing a personal best or simply soaking up the incredible atmosphere all the way to the famous finish line.

Blaydon Harriers enjoyed another great parkrun social at Jesmond Dene on Saturday 2 May, followed by a well‑earned visit to the Armstrong Bridge food market. With club members also running at Dalby Forest and as far afield as Zuiderpark in the Netherlands, it was a weekend that perfectly showcased the variety and community spirit of parkrun.
