On 9 November, Blaydon Harriers joined runners on the Town Moor for the Heaton Harriers Memorial Races. This Remembrance Sunday event featured everything from junior races to the fast, flat 10K. Highlights included Avoria Graham winning the U11 girls in 3:46 and Charlotte Turnbull taking 3rd in 4:09. In the 10K, Martin Graham led the club home in 36:26, with strong runs from Oliver Bailes, Michael Friberg, Letha Whitham, and Sarah Batsford.

Blaydon Harriers’ Doreen Craig delivered an incredible performance at the European Masters Championships in Madeira. Competing in the W70 category, she claimed gold in the 4x100m relay and silver in the 4x400m, alongside strong individual finishes in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. Her success was part of a fantastic showing by North East Masters athletes, who brought home 35 medals overall.
