WELFARE
Athletics is one of the most accessible and successful sports in the UK. All children and vulnerable adults who take part in athletics are entitled to participate in a fun and safe environment, and we believe that everyone involved in our sport can play a part to safeguard and protect them from harm.
Blaydon Harrier and Athletics Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members and has adopted the UK Athletics (UKA) and Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAF) safeguarding policies and procedures. These policies and procedures have been developed in line with relevant national legislation, and relevant national and local guidelines.
The Club believes that it is important that members, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and carers associated with the Club should, at all times, follow the relevant Codes of Conduct; show respect; and support the Club and all our members.
