Join Blaydon Harriers and enjoy a welcoming, supportive community for athletes of all abilities, with regular training sessions and plenty of opportunities to achieve your goals.

UNDER 18s

Due to high demand, our Junior Endurance and Induction groups are currently full and their waiting lists are closed. Our Junior Hurdles group operates a waiting list, although waits may exceed six months. Once you complete our membership form, you will be added to the Junior Hurdles waiting list and contacted when a space becomes available.

OVER 18s

We're pleased to welcome new adult members throughout the year, with a free four week taster period available to help you experience the Club before joining. Please complete our membership form and our Membership Secretary will be in touch to arrange your first session.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Joining Blaydon Harriers involves an annual membership fee. Fees for the 25/26 season are:

Induction (9-10 years): £40
Juniors (11-17 years): £59
Seniors (18+ years): £79
Concessions (students and over 60s): £59

There is no fee payable until you are offered a place and your four-week taster membership has expired. If you're not a student or over 60 but feel you would benefit from our concessionary membership rate, please contact our Membership Secretary for a confidential discussion.

Coached training sessions on the track at Blaydon Leisure Centre
England Athletics Affiliation*
Membership of Northern Athletics*
Discounts at sports retailers and Wild Deer Events
Discounts through England Athletics MyAthletics portal*
Paid entry to local races
Discounted entry to many races

*available to all members except Induction athletes

We also have a £9 associate membership for those who want to support the club but don’t need the benefits outlined above.
