Seven of our best young athletes competed for their counties today either Northumberland or Durham. All seven had fantastic runs in the thick mud and snow flurries. Best performance of the day was Will Collinson who was 11th in the junior boys and second Northumberland home. Also running for Northumberland in their age groups we had Daniel Buffham 46th, Luke Shears 57th, Jack Boaden 41st and Beth Fraser 45th. Running for Durham in their age groups was Cecilia Reid 22nd and Jessica Levy 48th. A mention also to two of our seniors, Andrew and Nicola Alderson who made their debut appearances in the North East Masters XC this weekend.
