Martin Graham and Peter Hodgson Complete the George Fisher Tea Round

Congratulations to Martin Graham and Peter Hodgson, who successfully completed the challenging George Fisher Tea Round in June.

Based in the Lake District, the Tea Round is a demanding mountain challenge that starts and finishes at George Fisher's store in Keswick. The route covers approximately 30 miles with over 12,000 feet of ascent, linking ten fells that can be seen from the store, including Catbells, Robinson, High Stile, Causey Pike, Sail, Eel Crag, Barrow and Grisedale Pike.

The route is a true test of endurance, navigation and fell-running ability, taking participants across some of the Lake District's most iconic and rugged terrain. Completing the round requires not only physical strength but also careful pacing and determination over a long day in the hills.

Martin and Peter's successful completion of the challenge is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication and adventurous spirit that characterise so many Blaydon Harriers members.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Martin and Peter on their accomplishment. Whether racing, trail running or taking on personal challenges in the mountains, it is always inspiring to see members pushing themselves and achieving their goals.
