Saturday saw a multitude of Blaydon representation at various local parkruns, including Prudhoe, Chester le Street and Newcastle Town Moor.
A swarm of Bees buzzed up the A1 on Sunday morning to take part in the Norman Woodcock Relays, hosted by Elswick Harriers. Teams of 3, each runner completing a 1.66 mile loop of Gosforth Racecourse. A lovely team spirit and great to see some of the newer members getting involved. Some speedy performances in good running conditions.
Four keen and eager Bees also trekked up to the Gibside Estate to tackle the Fruit Bowl 7 mile race, hosted by Blackhill Bounders. A tough course, but one we always enjoy.
