Blaydon Harriers had a fantastic day at the Tartan Games on Sunday 24 August 2025, hosted by Gateshead Harriers at Gateshead International Stadium.

The event brought together junior athletes from across the region for a day of exciting competition, and our athletes certainly rose to the occasion. A huge congratulations to Avoria Graham and Billy Eyres, who both claimed first place finishes, an incredible achievement and a proud moment for the club.

Our athletes competed in a range of events including the 50m sprint, 400m, long jump, and howler throw. Each performance showed the strength and versatility of our young athletes, with great effort and determination on display throughout the day. The results are a clear reflection of the hard work being put in at training and the supportive environment fostered by our coaching team.

It was a big win for Blaydon Harriers, and we’re thrilled to see our athletes thriving in competition. Well done to everyone who took part.
