Royal Signals Relays, 20th February 2016

A highly successful day for Blaydon’s senior and veteran men. Ten of Blaydons finest lined up in the Royal Signals Relays at a blustery Hetton Park yesterday. The over 50’s men, Paddy Garrogan (14.09), Eric Lewis (14.50), Liam Friel (14.44) and Alan Dent (14.56) finished a very creditable 9th in their category.

The senior men Hedley Fletcher (12.59), Lee Hutton (13.28), Peter Hodgeson (12.26), Alex Muir (12.32), Daniel Flint (12.54) and Matthew Alderson (12.03) finished 16th in the main race of the day.

The team were led by Daniel, who has transformed the senior men and some senior women, giving them more structured training sessions and a greater desire to race. Well done everyone!
