NEHL Wrekenton Cross Country, 23 November 2025

Grass, mud, and steep climbs on a chilly, wet Sunday afternoon at the NEHL Wrekenton Cross Country on 23 November 2025… perfect cross-country conditions!

The Club had a fantastic turnout and an incredible effort from the women’s team once again — a real test of stamina and endurance, and they absolutely delivered. Brilliant performances all round!

Our juniors were superb too, many crossing the finish line with smiles on their faces despite the challenging course. Great to see such determination and enthusiasm from the next generation of runners.

A big thank you to Saltwell Harriers for hosting and to Gosforth Harriers for the delicious post-race cakes — much appreciated after a tough day out.
