Congratulations to David Heslop who finished 3rd in the re-arranged Valentine’s 10k on Newcastle Town Moor at the weekend in a time of 34.47. Well done David. Coach Daniel Flint's training is beginning to pay off!
Some of our amazing ladies also competed. Tracy Bowers achieved a new PB of 62.19, Bernie James 62.57, Marie Bottomley 63.59 and Kirsteen McCormick 71.24, Gemma Scott 60.06, Jeanette Geldart 71.11 and Sharon Armstrong also ran after a last minute entry to join the ladies. The ladies chose to swap their usual black and orange stripes for a valentines pink theme which found them a little fame as Run Nation, the race orgainisers, used the ladies fabulous team photo as their new Facebook page profile!
