Blaydon/Elswick Secure Third Place in NESDL Division One

The final North East Senior Development League (NESDL) Track and Field fixture of the season took place on 18 July, bringing another successful league campaign to a close for the Blaydon Harriers and Elswick Harriers joint team.

Competing against strong opposition throughout the season, the team demonstrated excellent commitment, versatility and determination across the full range of track and field events. From sprints and middle-distance races to jumps and throws, athletes stepped up to score valuable points for the team.

The final standings saw Blaydon/Elswick finish in third place in Division One. The result is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and team spirit shown by athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who represented the team during the season, as well as the coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters who contributed behind the scenes. Development leagues rely on the efforts of many people, and every contribution plays an important part in the team's success.
