Wild Deer 10k and 5k Trail Runs, 30 April 2025

On Wednesday night, a few of our senior runners took on the challenging Wild Deer 5k and 10k trail runs at Gibside. The event offered tough terrain and beautiful surroundings, making it a fantastic test of both speed and endurance.

Well done to everyone who took part and gave it their all. A special shoutout goes to Robert Atkinson, who delivered an outstanding performance by winning the 5k race with a time of 20:24. That’s a brilliant achievement, congratulations, Robert!

It’s always great to see our members competing in different events and representing Blaydon. We look forward to more trail adventures and strong runs throughout the season.
