NEYDL, 27 April 2025

Sunday 27 April 2025 saw the return of the North East Youth Development League (NEYDL) at Shildon, and what a fantastic day it was!

Our juniors teamed up with Gosforth and Wallsend, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. The sun was shining, the team spirit was high, and the improvement in our young athletes over the past year was nothing short of incredible.

There were so many standout performances that we lost count of the podium finishes! From fast finishes to gutsy kicks, everyone gave it their all and did their clubs proud. Whether it was your first time competing or you’re a regular on the track, you all contributed to a brilliant team effort.

A big thank you to the parents who volunteered and helped out on the day, you really got stuck in, and events like this simply wouldn’t run without your support.

We’re already looking forward to the next fixture. Well done to all our athletes, you’re all superstars! ⭐
