Newcastle Town Moor Half Marathon, 29 March 2026

Blaydon Harriers were proudly represented by Abbie Lewis at the RunThrough Newcastle Town Moor Half Marathon on Sunday 29 March 2026, and what a performance it was.

Racing on the fast, traffic‑free paths of Newcastle’s Town Moor, Abbie delivered an outstanding run, finishing in a sub‑90‑minute time over the 13.1 mile distance. Her strong and consistent effort saw her place 14th overall in the field and claim an excellent 2nd female position.

The Town Moor Half Marathon is known for attracting competitive fields thanks to its flat, runnable course, making Abbie’s result all the more impressive. Running solo in club colours, she represented Blaydon Harriers superbly and demonstrated great strength and determination throughout the race.
