The Birtley Junior XC Relays return, using the same course as in previous years. This well established event features relay races for athletes from Under 11 through to Under 20, offering a friendly and competitive introduction to team cross country running. It will again form part of the NECAA Junior Cross Country Relay Championships, attracting clubs from across the region.

Teams are made up of three runners, with each age group covering an appropriately set course distance. It is a fantastic opportunity for our younger athletes to gain race experience, work together as a team and enjoy a supportive club atmosphere.

BHAC juniors who are interested in taking part should register their interest through Spond, so we can organise teams and ensure everyone is entered correctly. This is a great event for new runners and regular racers alike, and we would love to see strong Blaydon representation across all age groups. Birtley Junior XC Relays
